19th Century Flashback in the Lower East Side

This past week the lower east side was transformed to resemble what it must have looked like at the turn of the 20th century!  With old school shop windows, hundreds of extras dressed in costumes, an assortment of horse and buggies and mud covering the streets, there was much buzz happening on the intersection of Orchard and Broome streets.  The excitement was palpable thanks to the filming of a new Cinemax show called the "Knick" directed by Steven Soderbergh and staring Clive Owen.  For those of you who missed it here is a recap of what we saw outside the store windows!!
